Project Matrix #2 - Important Notice, Packaging, and Production Update

Hello again. Matrix’s production has officially started this week and we have more to share regarding this project.

Important Notice

I just noticed that the spec sheet is missing from the project description. I have fixed it and I will show it here again

Neither Matrix comes with an internal battery or 2.4 GHz receiver. If our previous info caused misinformation to you,  feel free to submit a cancellation. Again, I'm sorry about this.

Packaging

We have completely redesigned the packaging for Matrix and we would love to hear your feedback.

The new design provides a unique aesthetic that is not common on electronics but I hope all of you like this bold new design. This design also helps Matrix pops on shelves.

Production

For batch one, we will be making 350 Matrix Pros and 150 Matrix Standard based on current demand.

Currently, we have those components ready to go: Enclosure, Antislip pad, USB cable, main chip, some minor parts, and bonus rewards.  

PCB is currently under production and is estimated will be completed by end of February. 

The keypad is currently undergoing retooling for an improved feeling. Production is estimated will be done by mid of march.

Everything else is basically ready to go and unlikely to cause too much of an issue.
